¡Mi gente! From creating digital and production assets to help hand out stickers and swag in person in different cities, this campaign is all about promoting the pride we have in our heritage from all corners of the map. This community driven project meant bringing joy to the work and to the people!
We wanted to capture what it means to be a proud to be an immigrant in this country as well as show support to immigrants. We held 5 popups in 5 different major cities where we held space for those to show pride in their heritage handing out swag that was designed in-house and unique to each location we set up at. We encouraged those stopping by to share what they're proud of and to post it on our public art piece to show how unified we all can be.
We also partnered with FWD.us in their To Immigrants with Love campaign where people were invited to share messages of hope, compassion and empathy and show that this country is their home as well. These were held at public spaces, campuses and even in New York City's own Timesquare.
